Corner TRV set with  lockshield 15mm are one kind of self-regulating valves set, fitted to hot water heating system radiator, to control the temperature of a room by changing the flow of hot water to the radiator. It is specially designed for the position limit when people need to replace/install their valves in a corner position.

It includes a thermostatic head and 2 corner valves. The user turns the thermostatic head to the required temperature value. The inside sensor element of thermostatic head sense the room’s temperature and adjust the flow of hot water to the desired ambient temperature.

 How Does A Thermostatic Radiator Valve Lockshield Works?

BEIJINSI thermostats use a liquid-filled metal capsule with an integral push rod as their sensor element. Any change in temperature affects the volume of the liquid, which in turn changes the length of the push rod. This causes the valve to open and close.

When the room temperature goes above the desired level, the liquid sensor element expands and pushes the valve’s stem to close it, reducing the flow of hot water to the radiator. This helps bring the temperature down to the desired level. Similarly, when the room temperature drops below the desired level, the liquid sensor element shrinks and the valve opens to increase the hot water flow to the radiator, bringing the temperature back up.

Using these energy-efficient TRV valves, you can easily control the temperature in each room, saving energy and money by avoiding overheating caused by manual valves. For installation, we recommend using a compression connection and PTFE seal.
