 What Is A Chrome Square Radiator Valve?

A chrome square radiator valve is one kinds of manual  radiator valves which is  connected with the square radiator or towel rail. There is a square twisting hand wheel on the top and a square body. It helps us to control the heat output of your radiator by limit the amount of hot water flow. This feature of the valve is the valve’s body and hand wheel are square shape which could match with the square tube towel rails or towel radiators

A radiator or towel rail will need two valves. One will be fit to inlet pipe, to control the amount of hot water to enter the radiator. And the other one will be fit to the return pipe to balance the system by controlling heat output out of the radiator. Sometimes we can call it ‘lockshield valve’ or return valve.

 Where Is A Chrome Square Radiator Valve Installed?

It is recommended that the radiator valves should be installed on the bottom of the towel rail or radiator where the pipes come into and exit the radiator. Normally they will be fitted at the bottom left and right of the radiator, but sometimes needed to be fitted to the bottom middle of the radiator. You can adjust the flow of hot water to enter or leave the towel rail or radiator by rotate the hand wheel of the valve.

There are different types of radiator valves, such as angled, square, straight, and h-block valves. The suqare angled radiator valves are normally installed with the pipes come from the wall and match with the square shape towel rails.

 How We Control The Quality Of Radiator Valves?

Compared with market products, we do 4 steps to control the quality.

• 1^st step: Adopt high quality hand polish and select the supplier who is doing the best quality of chrome plating.
• 2^nd step: After each process of polishing&chrome plating, we do 100% inspection to check the quality. If there is any scratches or chrome defect, we will ask the workers to rework and make rechecking again, until it is qualified.
• 3^rd step: To avoid any scratches or defect during the transportation and assembling, each product must be put and isolated neatly.
• 4th step: 100% leakage test under high&low pressure, lifetime test, breaking test to assure the quality
